I forgot to mention that Nathan started crawling last weekend. He's still a little unstable but catching on quick!
Lots of stuff to catch up on. Nathan came home with a bad cold about two weeks ago and ended up giving it to Heather and I. With Heather and I it turned into a pretty nasty upper respiratory infection. Heather and I spent our anniversary (Dec 6) at the Biltmore in Ashville, NC. The Biltmore is beautiful unfortunately the weather and our illness did not cooperate. As a result, we spent a lot of our spare time in the hotel room rather than out seeing the sites. While we were in Ashville, Nathan stayed with his Grandma Jan and Grandpa Shearl in Columbus. He came back spoiled as can be expected. Nathan spent last weekend in Columbus also. Heather and I went to our sunday school Christmas Dinner on Thursday and then hosted a small get together on Saturday night. Christmas is approaching way too fast. I don't think we have any shopping done yet... yikes.

Nathan is experiencing his second head cold and will require us to stay in Macon and celebrate Thanksgiving. Despite his cold, he has started pushing up on his hands and knees and actually moved his back leg to begin crawling.

Nathan and I (Dean) went to the Moutrie car show and swap meet last Saturday. We met dad, Robbie, Joey, Wayne and Josh from Columbus down there. It was a beautiful day but a little on the hot side to be waking around in the sun. We didn't finish walking through the swap meet area until about 3:00 and hadn't started looking at cars yet. Nahan and I looked at cars for about 45 minutes and gave up... too tired. Nathan did real well considering the heat and the fact he was confined to a stroller most of the time.

Nathan's got a little cold (fever runny nose) and a lot of gas right now. He's not sleeping very well as a result.

Nana Helen and Papa Ernie came over to visit today. Unfortunately, Nathan was his normal playfull self but they still had a nice visit.

Nathan has started holding his own bottle very well. He's experimenting with some new foods too. This week he has been eating Oats cereal. He doesn't like it very much and it seems to make him a little gassy and constipated but we are working through it.

Hello everyone! Nathan recently had another bout with constipation and gas. We think it is the transition to new foods. He's trying oats cereal and a few new fruits and veggies. Nathan is trying to crawl but just can't get the legs and arms to work together yet.

I had a little episode with a kidney stone last week during a trip to SW Alabama. I spent 5 hours in a Mobile Hospital and another day in a hotel bed. I finally passed the sucker and feel fine now.

Happy Birthday Nathan Nathan is 6 months old today. Well its been a while since the last installment of the blogger report. We have been pretty busy around the Dummitt house. Heather was gone last week completing her last week of Six Sigma training. I have been gone for 2 weeks running a trial in Conyers, Ga and Nathan spent last week with his Grandparents in Lake City, Fl.

Amber and Nick stopped by last night on their way to Naples Florida. Amber is pregnant with their first child. They hope to find out the sex in a couple of weeks.

Nathan has a TOOTH!!!! While feeding Nathan this evening Heather discovered that Nathan has cut his first tooth.

Heather took Nathan to a football game Friday night with the Ivie's. Nathan was in sensory overload. He was fascinated with the band the crowd, the game and the dancing girls ;)

Sorry for the long delay in posts. Heather's sister Shannon gave birth to baby Bella last week. I closed on a piece of rental property and have been tied up getting that in order. We started painting it last Sunday and it already looks much better. Insurance on vacant property is expensive so we are trying to get it ready to rent as soon as possible.

Nathan is doing great. He has a bouncy swing that hangs in a door way that he loves. He is eating cereal and fruit 2 times a day. You normally can't shuvle it in fast enough. He has started waking up in the middle of the night ~3:30 hungry. He has started to reach out and grab his bottle and other toys.

Heather's parents picked Nathan up on Saturday and took him to visit Shannon, Ken and Blakely in Atlanta with them. Heather and I went to Rebecca (Becky) Thompsons wedding and met everyone else in Atlanta later that night. Heather and Shannon had a bow show at a neighborhood Ice Cream Social sunday. The rest of the family went to enjoy the festival. Nathan and really enjoyed his visit with everyone.

Nathan had a real good night last night. He went to bed at about 9PM and I had to wake him up at 7:30 this morning.

Heather is in Indiana for Six Sigma training this week so me and Nathan are by ourselves. I got tied up in Augusta yesterday and couldn't make it back to Macon in time to pick him up from day care. Teena Ivie's mother graciously picked him up and watched him for about an hour til I got back.

Nathan has really started to develop hand-eye coordination. He has started reaching out to grab things on his ultrasaucer and is reaching out for his bottle at feeding time
